Kate Carrott
I have practiced Pilates and Yoga for as long as I can remember and enjoyed a series of retreats across India, Morocco, Portugal and Bali which inspired me to turn my passion into my profession.

It was whilst on maternity leave with my first son that I began my training with Belinda Buttery and Claire Worman at Pilates Training Solutions. I admired their traditional and clinical approach to Pilates based on their extensive experience in Osteopathy and Exercise Science.
​
Shortly after this I completed my Pregnancy and Post Natal Pilates course with Helen Carpenter Waters, an industry leader in ante and post natal Pilates.
​
Wanting to further my knowledge of pre and post natal fitness, I trained with Jenny Burrell, the UK's only endorsed and accredited education provider solely dedicated to the fields of pregnancy, post baby, peri to post menopause, female fitness, wellness and bodywork therapies. This Post Natal Assessment and Exercise Prescription qualification is one of the leading international qualifications in the area and I now feel I can really help mums to heal and be their best!

I truly believe that Pilates has something to offer everyone, from pregnant or post natal ladies, to sports people, those with back problems, recovering from injury, or just anyone wanting to future-proof their body and feel strong and confident in their own body and mind. Pilates really makes me happy and it is my goal to spread the happiness!!

My Classes

I believe in the importance of precision and correct alignment and posture in Pilates and that's why I work with my clients to create a personalised exercise programme tailored to meet the needs of their bodies and fit with their lifestyle.
​
Each new client will receive a detailed postural analysis, along with reviewing your own goals, this will form the basis of your exercise prescription. We will work carefully through exercises targeted to correct imbalances in your body, build strength where it is needed and stretch through troublesome tight areas.
​
I will give you easy to follow guides for exercises you can do at home (tailored to fit in with your lifestyle, however busy that is!) Your progress will constantly be monitored and the programme progressed to ensure you are achieving your goals. You will see and feel a difference!
​
I only work with small groups, or preferably one to one private sessions, as this enables you to really focus on alignment and technique. Meaning you get better results, faster!!

Peace Pilates Studio
​
My small but fully equipped matwork studio is in Hampton, with free parking right outside, just a short walk from Hampton station (see map). On sunny days we can even take the mats outside onto the decking in my peaceful garden / mediterranean Oasis!
I can also teach you in your own home and am willing to travel around the Hampton, Twickenham, Teddington area.
